Madison Rising - The Star Spangled Banner

Lyrics for The Star Spangled Banner by Madison Rising

Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land, land of the free and the home of the brave?
Because we are the brave
Yes we are the brave
We’ll fight tyranny
In the name of the free
We are the U.S. of A
For those unaware
That flag is still there
It’s our future to save
This land of the brave
The U.S. of A
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land, land of the free and the home of the brave?
